This
honeymoon provides a well-rounded view of the islands
- Kauai and Maui are very different and both
enjoyable in their own ways. On laid back
Kauai, you will have time to unwind from the
excitement of your wedding and the long flight.
Days can be spent relaxing by the pool and
enjoying the island's scenic beauty, arguably
the best in all of Hawaii. Maui, on the other hand, is
well-suited for a more social experience. Here
you will find excellent dining, shopping, and
nightlife, along with a wide range of
activities.
You
will arrive in Kauai to a traditional floral lei
greeting, suddenly revived by the wonderful
floral scent. Feel the warm sun and cool ocean breezes.
At this point, all stress should immediately
leave your body (it's an unwritten law in Hawaii).
After
you take your first breath of sweet Kauai air,
it's time to pick up your convertible rental
car, drop the top, and head south to the Grand
Hyatt Kauai in Poipu known for its impeccable
grounds, championship golf courses and elaborate
and entertaining pools. Even though the resort
has enough activities to keep you busy for days,
you have come to Kauai to relax, enjoy a little
pampering, and then take in the island's
dramatic scenery - by foot, by sea and by air!
One of the most amazing ways to get an
"overview" of the island is via helicopter,
which will allow you to see areas unreachable by
any other means. Another highlight is the rugged
and beautiful Na Pali Coast, best viewed from
the deck of a catamaran. Finally, to feed your
appetite for a little adventure, there is a
terrific jungle tour that combines hiking and
river kayaking, culminating with a cooling
frolic beneath a gorgeous waterfall. Of course,
you should also spend some time taking advantage
of the Hyatt’s facilities - how about a romantic
couple’s massage at in their renowned Anara
Spa’s honeymoon Hale, specially designed for
honeymooners.
After
experiencing Kauai, it's time to get a different
view of Hawaii, one that tends to be more
active and social. Head back to the Kauai airport
and jump on an inter-island flight to Maui.
Upon arrival, there will be a Jeep Wrangler
waiting for you. Hop in and make your way
to the sunny Wailea Coast.

Your accommodations for the next five days will
be the elegant Fours Seasons Resort, which sits
on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Chill
out for a couple of days, enjoy the hotel's
incredible amenities and service, then get ready
to explore Maui. One of the island's must-do
activities is going to the top of Haleakala
Volcano to watch the sun rise, then cruising
the 39 miles down on a bicycle without pedalling
even once! Spend another wonderful day driving
the road to Hana, which twists through lush
tropical jungle, in and out of gorges, past
roadside waterfalls and through laid-back
country villages - in your Jeep, you won't miss
a vista. There are numerous other things to do
on Maui, from rafting with dolphins, to fabulous
snorkeling, shopping and eating! Finally,
celebrate your honeymoon by spending a night at
the Feast at Lele, where you will dine, drink and be thoroughly
entertained.
Overall, the combination of beautiful
destinations, superb resorts, terrific food and
unique activities will make this a most
memorable trip!
